A Midsummer Night’s Cream - Violet Butter

Inspired by the magic and beauty of spring’s violet blossoms, and the healing power of violet leaves! Violets have long been beloved by herbalists, poets, writers and artists, and for good reason - these gentle, ethereal, magical plants love to help us, nourish us, and heal us. We infused violet leaves and flowers with certified organic olive oil to make a rich, green herbal oil that has long been used to soothe irritated skin, calm the spirit, and nourish both body and soul. The herbally infused oil has a rich, green note all on it’s own - then we added rose absolute, as well as ylang-ylang essential oil and and a hint of violet fragrance. The goal: a gently fragranced balm capturing the spirit and scent of lying in the sunshine on a bed of gently crushed violet leaves and flowers.
