borage

Borage is a beautiful cottage flower/herb that just sorta self-seeds it wherever it wants to be that year.

small-leaved purple basil A beautiful new kind of miniature-leaved purple basil we grew this year. I sure wish I could remember what it was called. *scratches head*
lemon balm gone mad This is a teeny portion of our lemon balm bed, after being harvested SEVERAL times. It loves being cut, and just comes back lusher and fuller than ever.

buck rose Hawkeye Belle This is one of our favorite roses, a variety of Buck Rose called "Hakweye Belle".

nettle

Donna's arch-nemesis - NETTLE! (Okay, she loves what it does for her hair...but can't get along with it in her garden! It likes to bite her).

fall-blooming clematis

Beautiful fall-blooming clematis.

harvest corn

Our neighbor's corn crop, just about ready for harvest.

red hot peppers

Red-hot peppers ready for harvest and drying.

back of shop and prairie

A view of the back side of our shop - to the left is the prairie area.

maximillian sunflower

A Maximillian Sunflower - native to our area. These are really tall - these are the tall yellow flowers you see in the picture on the left.
